UH-OH! My party/event is outdoors… what if it rains?
Outdoor parties are great fun! But in the event of wet weather, a Plan B is essential as cancellations or postponements on the day of the event will incur 100% of the fee.
We always recommend a backup plan to ensure the festivities will go ahead! Simply let us know the alternative location, and the team member will go there instead.
Do I have to provide anything for the entertainers?
Face Painting: If possible, a table and 2 chairs (adult size) per artist you book. If you have a larger tables, multiple artists can work off this, but they each need 2 chairs for the service. (If this is not possible, please let us know.)
Balloon Twisting: A table or (adult) chair, or an area close to a powerpoint (for team members with an electric pump).
Airbrush Tattoos: Artists will need access to powerpoints for their airbrush guns.
How can I stop receiving reminders for outstanding invoices?
Our accounting system automatically generates the reminder and will stop once the invoice is paid. Please allow 3-7 days for our accounting team to manually mark the invoice as paid.

Do I have to reimburse my entertainer for their parking costs?
Parking fees may apply depending on your location and parking availability.
Please notify Creative Faces if no free parking is available, so that we can organise this prior to the booking.
For corporate events, please ensure free parking is available with suitable access for our entertainers.
What time will the entertainer arrive?
Our entertainer will arrive 10-15 minutes before the scheduled start time to meet with you and set up. If you’d like them to arrive earlier, please let us know.
What will my entertainer wear on the day?
Our entertainers attire is all black, clean & professional with closed-in shoes. They may wear something colourful or happy as a pop of fun. If you’d like them to wear themed colours, please let us know.
Costumes are at an additional cost.
Can I request a specific entertainer?
Yes, you can request a specific entertainer.
Please let us know who you prefer, and we’ll check their availability for you.
Do you have male entertainers?
While the majority of our entertainers are female, please note that we have a handful who are male. Males tend to focus on balloon twisting activities.
If you are requesting a male, please be advised that we only have a few male entertainers and will need to check their availability.
How many children can I invite?
There is no set minimum or maximum number of children who can attend a party or event. However, based on the number of children expected, we will recommend an appropriate duration for the entertainment and the ideal number of entertainers to ensure a fantastic experience for everyone.
A general rule of thumb:
- A face artist & glitter tattoo artist can paint roughly 10 kids per hour.
- A balloon twister & airbrush tattooist can cover roughly 10 – 15 kids per hour (depending on the design). The more the kids, the more basic the designs will be.
- A giant bubble performer can provide entertainment to a large group of attendees.
Do you have a minimum booking?
We have a minimum booking period of 1.5 hours for our face painting package, balloon twisting package, costumed entertainment package, airbrush tattoo package and glitter tattoo package. However, for the bubbloons package, Enchanting Bubble Package and Deluxe package, the minimum booking period is 1 hour.
Can I make a booking at the last minute?
Yes, you can make a booking at the last minute. However, please note that we will need to check the availability of our team and will inform you once we have secured an artist or entertainer for your event.
As our bookings are often made well in advance, there is a high possibility we may not be able to accommodate your request. We will remind you of this when we send through the quote, so there are no disappointments.
What face paints do you use? Are they safe?
We use only high-quality, non-toxic, FDA approved water-based hypoallergenic paints that are safe for sensitive skin.
If you are unsure, we are happy to do a patch test on the day to be on the safe side!
What type of glitter do you use?
We use only high-quality cosmetic-grade glitter for both face painting and make up (MUA) applications, as well as for glitter tattoos.
If you’d like our team to use biodegradable glitters, then please let us know.
How many kids will be painted in the hour?
A skilled artist can paint roughly 10 kids an hour.
Can I ask the artist to paint faster to cover more kids within the hour?
Yes, but within reason. Please note that the faster they paint, the quality of the work will go down. We will never go over 20 kids per hour for 1 artist, and will only approve this at large-scale events such as corporate events, festivals, etc where multiple artists are working together.
What type of balloons do you use?
We use latex balloons that are made from natural rubber. If you or your child has a latex allergy, please let us know.
Aren’t balloons bad for the environment?
While balloons can pose a threat to wildlife, it is important to understand that balloons are made out of latex which is a plant-based material made from natural rubber, that comes from the Hevea Brasiliensis (Pará Rubber Tree). It is not made from plastic and will eventually break down.
As part of the Pro Environment Balloon Alliance, we want to ensure that balloons are used and disposed of responsibly, otherwise, during their long bio-degrading period, they may run the risk of posing a threat to wildlife.

Can my balloon twister make advanced balloon creations?
Yes, some of our balloon twisters are skilled in creating advanced balloon twisting designs. We will certainly do our best to secure one for your event.
Please note that advanced twisters are more likely to be available when booking the balloon package on its own. Additionally, we will need to ensure there is enough time for each child to receive an advanced design, as this may take longer per child, per hour. For example, if you have 15 kids in attendance and would like each to receive an advanced balloon design, then we’d recommend 1.5 – 2 hours of our Balloon Twisting Package.
What surface is suitable for a Giant Bubble package?
The most suitable surfaces for giant bubbles are real grass, artificial grass, or astroturf. These surfaces provide a better grip and help prevent the bubble mixture from making the ground slippery, ensuring a safer environment for all in attendance.
I booked a Giant Bubbles package, but it's going to be raining!
If the weather takes a turn for the worse, we always recommend having a wet weather plan (Plan B) in place.
If you booked the Enchanting Bubble package and the weather is unfavourable, we can switch the giant bubbles to balloon twisting entertainment on the day, at no extra cost.
Can the giant bubble entertainer rove?
A giant bubble entertainer can rove, but it depends on the available space and the entertainer’s setup.
To create giant bubbles while moving around, the entertainer would need sufficient room to manoeuvre and ensure safety.
Roving with giant bubbles can be more challenging than a stationary performance, as the equipment and bubble mixture need to be carefully managed while on the move, and not all our team member have roving kits.
Please let us know if you require a roving giant bubble performer, and we will discuss logistics further.
